The venue is clean, and the staff is top-class and attentive. It has a magnificent and absolutely incredible location, a short walk to the bus station and eateries. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, like Restaurante Tupana Wasi, which is set within a 5-minute walk or so. I really enjoyed this place.

I had an amazing experience at this hostel! The hosts at Amakonkay Machupicchu were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, despite the language barrier. They made every effort to understand my needs and preferences. The location was perfect, with the train station and a fantastic restaurant just a stone's throw away. The owner even arranged a special birthday dinner for my husband, which made our stay feel extra special. The breakfast provided was delicious and the owner personally prepared it. I highly recommend staying here for a reasonable price, great location, and wonderful hosts.

The rooms were spotless and peaceful, and the beds were super cozy, plus there were plenty of delicious meal choices available.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff who met us at the train station and escorted us to the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a minute away from the bus departure point for Machu Picchu. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We appreciated the delicious breakfast that was provided, as well as the kind gesture of allowing us to store our luggage while we explored Machu Picchu. The value for money was exceptional.

We did encounter a minor issue with the shower temperature, but it was manageable.

The location here is amazing, being just 1 mile away from Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum.

During our New Year stay, we really enjoyed the two key location facts of this hotel. It was conveniently located near the bus and train stations, making it easy for us to catch our transportation quickly. This was especially helpful during the busy holiday season. Additionally, the staff provided excellent assistance throughout our stay. They were attentive and professional, going above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. One advantage that we really appreciated was the comfortable and hygienic rooms. They were a welcoming place to rest after a long day of exploring.

We did have a couple of negative experiences during our stay. First, the hot shower didn't work properly.

Despite some minor issues with the shower temperature and lack of storage space, the overall cost-benefit for a one-night stay was excellent.
